1. Who we are

This site is owned and operated by Marta Scarampi, sole proprietorship, Via Giuseppe Mazzini 41, 10123 Torino, Italy. VAT (P.IVA) 12159700017. Email info@martascarampi.com. Every piece is made by hand in Torino.

By using www.martascarampi.com or buying from us, you agree to these Terms.

2. Use of the site

By using this site you confirm you are of legal age in your country. Use it lawfully only. We may refuse or cancel any order that appears fraudulent or duplicated.

3. Products

We describe and photograph our capes as accurately as we can; colours may vary by screen. Some product images are digital renderings, including AI-generated visuals, which we aim to have represent the actual garment faithfully in colour, detail and construction.

Most pieces are made in small batches. When a size is out of stock, the cape is sewn to order. Availability is not guaranteed and styles may change without notice.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in Euro and, in some markets, converted to your local currency. Prices for delivery within the European Union include VAT. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout.

We reserve the right to correct pricing errors. If a price is wrong, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm or cancel your order.

5. Shipping and duties

As set out in our Shipping & Returns policy. Outside the European Union, all duties and import taxes are included in the shipping rate and prepaid on your behalf (Delivered Duty Paid); the price you pay is final and nothing further is due on delivery.

We ship to the countries listed in our Shipping & Returns policy. If your country is not listed, write to us and we will arrange it.

6. Returns and right of withdrawal

As set out in our Returns & Refunds policy: consumers in the European Union have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from the purchase, without giving a reason.

This right does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised — including capes configured through the Cape Builder, where you choose fabric, colour, buttons or other details. These are cut and sewn for you alone and cannot be resold, so they are final. We confirm every personalised order by email before we begin, and you can change or cancel it up to that point.

Standard styles sewn to order because a size was out of stock are not personalised, and the 14-day right applies to them in full.

Items marked Final Sale are excluded.

7. Privacy

Your data is handled under our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the GDPR.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this site — images, designs, text, logos — belongs to Marta Scarampi and may not be used without written permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including our liability for goods that are faulty or not as described.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Italian law; disputes fall under the courts of Torino, Italy. Consumers keep any mandatory protections of their country of residence, and may bring proceedings in the courts of that country where the law allows.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; changes are posted here with an effective date.
