Shipping policy
Every piece is made in the Torino atelier. Because most capes are sewn to order, we ask for a little patience before your order ships.
Production and dispatch
- In stock (marked as such on the product page): ships in 2–3 business days.
- Sewn to order (standard styles when a size has sold out): 10–15 business days before dispatch.
- Personalized capes from the Cape Builder (you choose colour and buttons) are confirmed by email before we begin.
You receive a confirmation email with FedEx tracking as soon as your order ships. If you need a cape by a specific date, write to us before ordering.

Duties and taxes — all-inclusive
The price you pay is final. Nothing further is due on delivery, wherever we ship. No customs invoice, no charge at the door.
- Italy and the European Union: VAT is included in the price. No import charges apply.
- Outside the European Union: all duties and import taxes are included in the shipping rate and prepaid on your behalf. You pay nothing to FedEx on delivery.
Delivery responsibility
Once FedEx marks a shipment delivered — including to mailrooms, concierge desks or parcel lockers — our responsibility ends. Please make sure your address is complete before you order.
If a parcel is late, is lost in transit, or arrives damaged, write to info@martascarampi.com with your order number and we will open a FedEx investigation on your behalf and follow it through.
